Bio

Gina Grogan is a native of Oakland, CA but after over 10yrs in Los Angeles, it is definitely her second home. Gina spent five years at BSP, Inc., a branding and marketing firm, learning the ins and outs of branding and licensing for such brands and celebrities as Britney Spears, Dodge, Kingsford, and Norton Motorcycles.

She also assisted in managing the planning and execution of a nationwide diversity program for Goodyear and NASCAR. Following a layoff during the 2008 recession, Gina became skilled and sought after barber. She has had the pleasure of grooming actors, athletes, celebrities, and entertainment industry executives. During this time, Gina also held the position of Director of Marketing and Client Service for Booksy, Inc.; where she was responsible for coordinating all marketing events and managing the sales team in the US for the mobile app software company.

After five years as a barber, Gina followed her entrepreneurial aspirations and opened The Parlor Room, a premier men’s grooming lounge in Beverly Hills (previously located on Melrose). As the owner of The Parlor Room; Gina is looking forward to using her varied experiences, knowledge, and business acumen to further her success as a barber and entrepreneur. Gina was the recipient of a 2017 Outstanding Small Business award recognition from the City of LA and Mayor Eric Garcetti. The Parlor Room was a featured business on the front page of the City of LA’s Business Portal website.
